CU Boulder's campus is host to some big shows this year! With 'Life In Color' being absolutely crazy (check out our pictures HERE) and Elephant Revival planned for the Glenn Miller Ballroom on March 13th, CU students are getting a little spoiled. Well if you've been hearing the rumors, its been released that they are indeed true, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are coming to the Balch Field House! After this past year they've blown up on the music scene and what's even more impressive is they're doing it all as independent artists! Their recent hit 'Thrift Shop' even got to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Along with CU, they're touring around the country hitting festivals and college campuses still promoting their album 'The Heist'.
For the rest of Colorado they're coming to Greeley for their annual Spring Concert on March 3. This show sold out quick, and we expect this concert will too! Macklemore is also coming to Mesa State University right after the Boulder show. If you have friends out in Grand Junction let them know about this show, they don't have much to do out there.. But seriously spread the word to your friends, this show is going to be awesome (as you could guess if you saw him the past 2 Red Rocks shows he's been to).
This show is presented to the CU Campus thanks to the Cultural Events Board and Program Council. Its going down on April 19th at the Balch Field House. Tickets go on sale on March 4th at 10am. Student tickets can ONLY be purchased at the UMC Connection for $15 (+tax) with a limit of 1 per Buff Card. Non-student tickets can be purchased online, through the link below, for $40 (+tax) per ticket.
