Apparently Datsik has been up to some serious thinking for his upcoming Firepower Tour. And lucky for us, we will be the first to see it! Datsik will be premiering this incredible piece of technology for the first time at his performance at the Ogden Theatre on August 30th (This Thursday). Just another reason to not want to miss this concert! The images produced by the massive LED system within the vortex apparently are capable of spiraling and distorting to create images that, according to Datsik, are almost overwhelmingly distracting.
"I'm in the middle of all these visuals that are swirling inwards, pulsing. I look above me, to my left, to my right -- everywhere around me, there's visuals. It's really weird but really cool at the same time. But I've got to make sure I'm focused on what I'm doing, otherwise a) I'll fall over or b) have a seizure."

Datsik also promises that this is not the only new addition to his set. He plans on changing the entire dynamic of his set list; adding more unreleased tracks while keeping the ratio of his music about 75% his own. This is including his newest remix of the Linkin Park track 'Until It Breaks', which you can find on his Soundcloud.
