Rage Colorado: The Weekly Scene (7/30/2012)

Does this week have a list of incredible shows or what?! Of course the must see that everyone knows about is Kaskade's Freak of Nature Tour coming to Red Rocks on August 1st! If you guys missed him at Ultra or EDC this year, which, by the way, were some of the most incredible performances I've seen to date, this is surely to be a historical event for Colorado. Especially when considering some of his amazing bangers to come out in the last year. Most recently his remix of Katy Perry's - Wide Awake has blown to the top 50 charts with mind boggling speed and his passionate vocal tack 'Room For Happiness' is sure to be a performance in itself. Somehow this show has not sold out and all I can say is LUCKY YOU cause I sure as hell already got my ticket. Anyways, were going to make things easy for you and give you the ticket link right below so you can get on track with the times and get to this show!

After this show, it's looking like a 30% chance of rain and a 100% chance of DUB. That's right, Beta is pumping up the last weeks of your summer with performances by R3hab on the 2nd and Ajapai w/ Loadstar on the 3rd. R3hab, who also performed at EDC Vegas for his first time ever this year, has blown up like two hillbillies fishing with m80s in the last year. And with incredible new tracks like his remix of Calvin Harris' - We'll Be Coming Back coming out on his Soundcloud every week, you need to take this opportunity to see him while he's at his prime. For the heavier underground steppers you need to see Ajapai. The first song I ever heard by him was Mobilize and after that I've never been able to wash the grime off. Both performances are sure to be talked about.

Ajapai & Loadstar

The long anticipated Kottonmouth Kings performances is right around the corner with the much needed re-opening of the new and improved Fox Theater! This will be the second performance after the opening of the Fox with West Water Outlaws being the first (Also a show I would highly recommend checking out!). These cannabis idol-ing rappers will be bringing their 'Kaos & Kronix Tour' to the metropolitan of THC culture on August 3rd, so if your not a huge fan of dub, or your worn out from the R3hab concert, mark this show on your calendars! We've covered all the essentials, but in an effort to please everyone I feel we must discuss the Nicki Minaj Tour coming through Colorado on August 2nd at the Wells Fargo Theatre. All I'm going to say is that if this is the type of music in college that floats your boat then the concert will be perfect for you. Tickets are still available so if your one of those die hard fans who still hasnt gotten their ticket, you should make moves on that. At Rage Colorado were always here to help.
