Rusko, Boombox and Surkin Replacing Passion Pit at the Justice Performance at Red Rocks!

I'm sure all of you were just as distraught as I was when it was announced that Passion Pit would no longer be performing next to Justice at the August 7th performance at Red Rocks. That would have unquestionably been one hell of a legendary duo. But what type of venue would Red Rocks be if they didn't blow you away with an equally incredible new lineup? Definitely not one that would be able to hold the reputation that they do. Well, as you can tell by the title, Red Rocks has completely outdone themselves this time. To replace Passion Pit they are bringing in Rusko, Boombox and Surkin to back up the hugely famous Justice. If you were regretting having gotten your tickets early, I'm sure your bouncing up and down in your seats knowing that your ticket certainly did not go to waste. Not to say Justice alone isn't worth the meager $50 cover charge.

Of course, you all have probably heard of Rusko and Boombox but at Rage Colorado we always like to spend some time shedding light on the underdog of the concert. After listening to his entire Soundcloud it was hard to define this Parisian producer under any real conventional genre. If anything I'd say he's of fusion of glitch hop with moombaton but with some heavy drum elements. All I can say is check it out for yourself cause this stuff is pretty neat and should definitely make for a good opening act!
