Tomorrow's the day! Who's ready for one hell of a weekend?! This is something I've come to look forward to every year, and this year is no different. Global Dance Festival has become a pretty recognizable name here in Colorado for the EDM world. Since it first was held in 2002, they've had artists such as Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyke, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Deadmau5's first ever Colorado show, Benny Bennasi, Gareth Emery, and Avicii... just to name a few superstars. Held every year at a place dubbed as the "worlds greatest venue" by a couple of those past performers, Global has only grown every year it continued. From 1 day, to 2 days, to just recently 3 days the dance festival is now getting 10,000+ concert goers every year making it the largest dance festival in the Rocky Mountains. If you're as excited for this as I am, you've probably been following all of the social media sites GDF has to offer, so I'll get to the chase. This post is meant to inform you on all the weekend has to offer and get you ready for one of the greatest weekends of the summer!!

Getting to and from a dance festival is always a tough decision. No body wants to sit out and not drink, or party, to drive everyone else around. Well for that unlucky person, stop worrying, Global has figured that out for you. They've put together a list of different services that you can take to make your way to Red Rocks safely, leaving from a variety of places. Rides to Red Rocks
I'm sure most people have been to Red Rocks before, but for you who haven't, welcome! Like I said above, this has been dubbed as one of the greatest venues in the world and VERY different than anywhere else you've been. It's open and lover looks the city of Denver (if you're on the top rows). It's sound is amazing and so are the two giant rocks that make up the amphitheatre. Last year Global Dance Festival was recorded by a professional team to capture all the great memories and this year will be no different. Except, that this year Global wants to get the audience perspective! Everyone is encouraged to share their pictures and videos via Twitter to contribute to this years video. How cool is that right?? You can follow the Global Generation at @GlobalGen2012 and tag your media with the hashtag #GDFmovie. This is going to be a one of a kind video, literally!
