What to Do For Cinco De Mayo?

Follow us on Facebook

Cinco De Mayo celebrates the Mexican triumph over the French in 1862. In Mexico, Cinco De Mayo is celebrated with tons of food, wearing of the national colors, dancing, and anything else that might fall into what defines a 'Fiesta'. However, in college towns across America, the Fiesta has evolved into something slightly more appropriate for todays youth. Drinking and partying! We at Rage Colorado want to make sure that you all have the best Cinco De Mayo you can that will surely make getting up in the morning to study for exams an experience in itself!

This post were going to deviate from the normal postings of concert listings and go straight to the point, the 21+ events. Primarily because that's what you want to hear but also because seeing 3/4 of the people at last Cinco De Mayos, none of you will even be remotely capable to drive to a concert, and we do not condone such attempts.

The first event that we are very excited about is the Cinco De Mayo celebration going on at The Underdog (right below the Lazydog), where they are having special guest performance from Slanted Jack. If you haven't been to this place before, they have a killer set up with a fully loaded bar! There is NO COVER CHARGE, meaning more money to spend on drinks, and there will be some great music to go with it! Make sure to swing by and have fun!

Next on the list is the Absinthe House, where courtesy of Boulder Beats, will be having massive drink specials!
$3 Drafts
$3 Jager
$2 Kamakazi shots
They also have a free shot/drink special if you go to the link below
Definitely make sure to come check it out!

Last on the list is the Celebration going on at the Rio Grande! If your looking for Tequila look no further. $2 Cuervo Gold Shots and $5 Patron specials should very quickly put you in the Cinco spirit! Along with that you have the opportunity to win a new IPad 3, Kindle or iPod Nano so don't get too inebriated that you break your new prize!
