I have to say, I've been disappointed with radio rap lately. It's nothing but a catchy tune or chorus and leaves out meaning. Lucky hip-hop story tellers Hieroglyphics is coming to town! Headed by Del The Funkee Homosapien, who was the rapper in the Gorillaz for a little bit, this group features 9 members. Formed in the 90's they bring back everything that was good about hip-hop music. The show's on August 16th, another show that would be a great way to end your summer on a high note. Tickets go on sale Tuesday the 8th and they're releasing a limited number of early bird tickets for only $15, so even if you don't know them or much about them its not a big investment. Regular tickets will available after that for $20, again not too big of an investment. I highly suggest you go see this show to hear some sick lyrics, beats, and to get a little funkee!
