Guide To the Winter X-Games: Aspen, CO.




It's that time of year again. ESPN once again brings one of the greatest extreme sport competitions back to Buttermilk in Aspen this weekend and, though you probably already knew that, we want to give you some essential information for the weekend. X Games marks some of the greatest talent and achievements to ever happen in extreme sports. From the first attempts and lands of various tricks to back-to-back medal wins by athletes you can expect to see something huge this year in Aspen. Thankfully, after a little more money than they first wanted, Aspen was able to bring the games back to Buttermilk after ESPN sent out bids last year for new host cities. This has become a tradition here and something winter sports enthusiasts look forward to every year. After Aspen the games with be visiting 5 other cities around the world but it all starts this weekend.

We've rounded up the information you need to catch all of the action and fun going down this weekend. The competitions started today at 10:30 with the Ski Superpipe Men's Elimination. Here's the schedule for the rest of the weekend:

If all of these FREE events aren't enough for you, The Belly Up are bringing in Tyler The Creator on Friday from 7pm - 10pm followed up by Calvin Harris from 10:30pm - close.
