If you haven't heard of Bonobo by now, look him up quick. Simon Green, better known as Bonobo, is a DJ/ Producer out of the UK known for his captivating down tempo beats. Starting in 2000, he became one of the early pioneers of downtempo music. Integrating jazz, trip-hop, electronica, and more recently vocals he creates progressive songs that can get you jumping or calm you down. Usually Green tours solo playing DJ sets but ever since 2004 he brought in a live band to the act to bring the songs to life. The band features vocals, keyboardist, guitarists, saxophonist, string section, electronics, and drums and will be coming to both of these shows. He just announced his world tour to support his upcoming album, 'The North Borders'. The album is set to be released on the 2nd of April here in the States.
Bonobo will be passing though Colorado, making two stops at the Fox Theatre and the Ogden Theatre. While the Fox hasn't yet had an official release, the Ogden announced today that tickets will be going on sale on February 1st and you can expect around the same time for the Fox Theatre.
