Could you think of a better backdrop for a weekend of non-stop music than the Colorado mountains??
Snowball Music Festival is a one of a kind experience nestled in the mountains next to world class ski resorts. It's pretty unlikely that you've gotten the chance to rage in your snow gear for a weekend to some of the most well known and best up and coming acts in music but thanks to the festival you get that opportunity. Snowball turned out to be such a success, the organizers even created a similar festival in California, Snowglobe Music Festival. For 2 years in a row, Snowball Music Festival has held its residence in Avon, Colorado but earlier this year the organizers announced that this festival was moving.
"While we have received strong local support from businesses, locals and visitors; we feel our event has outgrown its current location. We understand it is in our best interest to focus on finding a long term area that will simplify many of the costly logistical challenges for us and our fans."
The movement was finally announced and "The Ball" will be back next year at Winter Park, Colorado at Grand Park March 8th-10th. Once again they're near a world class ski resort so, if you're up for it, you can get in some runs in between shows. No details have been released on the lineup or ticket sales so we'll be sure to keep you posted when theres more information! The "ultimate marriage of music and mountains" is back! #SNOWBALL2013
