In an effort to make our website more user friendly, we haven't had the chance to touch on some of the amazing just announced performances coming your guy's way. The most notably being the Dillon Francis with Kill Paris performance at the Ogden Theatre December 20th! This L.A. bred beast of a producer has claimed his fame as one of the major forefronts of the Moombahton genre. For those of you who have followed him as long as we have, you know that his roots were dubstep with his 2010 EP Shashbuckler under Play Me Records. That was unquestionably what brought him into the spotlight back in the turn of the decade. In the last year or so, Dillon Francis has stayed away from the typical Brostep thats begun saturating Soundcloud and Youtube and created a sound that was uniquely his own. For those of you who don't know who Kill Paris is, this concert is a match made in heaven.
Another L.A. bred prodigy, Kill Paris has taken on the one thing that most bash EDM for. Writing their own music! Thats right, this guy is fluent on guitar, piano, and an assundry of other instruments and constantly incorporates his own riffs, melodies and writings into his dubstep productions. By our standards, he was by far one of the most under-appreciated performers to date. When Deadmau5 put Skrillex under his wing, he flew. I can only expect the same for this guy. This is not a concert you should even consider missing. Tickets are $25. Expect that they will be sold out at least a week in advance.
