Underground Events in Denver!

Don't get the wrong idea when we say 'underground'. These events are by no means going to be in some hooker ridden, crack addict den of Denver, but they do withhold the actual location until 24 hours of the event. Well at least that's the impression we got since tickets are being sold on a reputable ticketing site. The 2 events that fit under this category are Ravers In Wonderland 2012 on September 8th and The Gathering - Color of Lights on August 25th. Both will be held in high capacity venues and should be expecting 1500+ and 5000 people respectively.

R.I.W. 2012 is a 16+ event and will have a bundle of DJs, as well as Dance crews and other various forms of entertainment. Quite honestly, I cant say I know any of the DJs but the headliners will be Anthony Mayer from Las Vegas, DarkSmash and Crim3Wave. The other DJs are as followed:

- ANTHONY MAYER

Although, the Underground scene isn't really my thing, the ones that I have been to are actually pretty fun, and definitely something you should check out at least once. Just because an artist isn't on the top 100 list doesn't mean they can't throw down. There will be 4 stages to accommodate for the mass of DJs and if you can snag the presale prices, which are going on right now, the event is only $5. Definitely worth checking out!

The Gathering is just right around the corner! Again, most of the DJs are not familiar names. However, this one does have Trajikk, who is probably regarded as one of the biggest resident DJ at Beta Nightclub. If you've been to Beta, you've probably seen him. He kills it! From the description on the event page, the venue sounds pretty sick. On top of that, a $1 of each ticket sale goes to the Waldo Cannon Wildfire Relief Fund and the Red Cross. And with tickets only $20, this is certainly going to be worth the money.
