One of my friends showed me this mighty band not too long ago, and I'm diggin' it alot now! This live electronica band has only been around for 5 years but are playing a huge tour lineup including Electric Forest and Wakarusa. They really remind me of older Lotus with some of their songs. They're taking their album release tour through 4 different venues in Colorado, the first being our very own Fox Theatre (the others are Cervantes, Aggie Theatre, and Belly Up)! This much anticipated album has been under the works for almost 2 and a half years. The album, titled T.E.T.I.O.S. (To End the Illusion of Separation), is a double disc compilation of recent tracks they've been playing as well as new unheard songs. Along with them, they're bringing Colorado's own Octopus Nebula! Much like Papadosio, Octopus Nebula is an electronic jam band that also blends a diverse array of breakbeat, rock, acid jazz, and grooves into their stuff. The back to back performances of these two artists is sure to be on hell of an event. All tickets go on sale on 7/27 and won't cost more than $20 for any of the select venues.
