With a musical style described as "ferocious, asphyxiating sheets of warped two-dimensional Gameboy glitches and bruising drum bombast that pierces your skull with their sheer shrill force, burrowing deep into the brain like a fever", Crystal Castles explores the side of dance music never covered before. The duo has traveled the world with their diverse songs and have captivated audiences everywhere. From Coachella Music Festival to one of the largest festivals in the world, Glastonbury in England, to headlining Ultra Music Festival in 2011 they have a lot of experience under their belt. In spring of 2011 we were lucky enough to get Glofest here on the CU Campus which Crystal Castles co-headlined with Colorado stars SAVOY. Although it was only a DJ set by Crystal Castles, it was epic nonetheless and I could only image getting Alice Glass singing live would only make it that much better. Along with them they bring both HEALTH and Kontravoid. Tickets are $35.75 before and $40 day of the show.
