So if you haven't noticed EDC IS ONLY 4 DAYS AWAY and if you're going, you're starting to get anxious about it all (like I am). Put on by one of the best production company's in the West Coast and possibly East coast with the start of EDC NYC, Insomniac is coming to bring one of the best weekend in EDM music. With world famous acts like Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Dirty South, Emalkay, Fedde Le Grand, Gareth Emery, Tiesto, Pretty Lights, and so on, EDC Vegas is going to be nothing short of EPIC. They even got the Blue Man Group to do a special performance with Dim Mak Records Steve Aoki.
If you've been watching them on Facebook or their site (http://electricdaisycarnival.com/LasVegas/), there has been a lot going on. Announcements on deals, ways to get to and from the venue, to and from vegas, and line-ups, but still no word on set times, which I feel is the most anticipated thing. This post is to spread the word about some of these announcements so you all know.

If you're lucky enough to go a little early out to Vegas, check into this. EDMbiz is EDC's newest electronic dance music conference regarding all things surrounding the EDM world. EDM is on it's way to taking over the music scene and this conference has some of the industry pioneers, big shots, and experts talking about the issues within the scene now. It costs $399 (which you can purchase here) but if you look at the line up of events, it looks worth it.

If you're still struggling to find a ride to Vegas, this is your answer. Zimride is a network of people from around the country all looking to reduce their carbon footprints, save some money, and meet new people. For pretty cheap you can carpool with people from your area or even sell your seats if you're going alone. There are a bunch of seats open right now so jump on that if you're in need.

Who likes holding a bunch of stuff while trying to dance?? EDC is back with private lockers for rent. This is a convenient place to keep all of your belongings safe while you go out and RAGE the night away. Lockers are $25/ day or $70 for all 3 nights.

Q-Dance is one of the worlds leading production company's. Specializing in Hard Style dance music they put on some huge shows with some of the craziest production I've ever seen. This year Insomniac brought them in for their very first show in the US. This is big, and something to be excited for! They get their own stage on the grounds and it's guaranteed to be massive. If EDC isn't enough music for you, there's always some of the side shows being thrown around the strip. The line ups for some of these are insane (keep in mind they run a little pricey) and are something you should look into. Check the link for shows going on over the weekend. Whether you want to lounge by the pool and here top notch DJing or you want to keep the party going after a full night, this is the place to look!
