I'm sure you've already heard the news. Sound Tribe Sector 9 announced they're going to play their all acoustic "Axe the Cables" set at the Boulder Theater before the RE:Generation Movie June 17th. They hinted at the set in a tweet saying "HEADS UP: #regeneration #axethecables #$10tickets #june17bouldertheater". Treehugger.com called it and sure enough the next day The Boulder Theater announced it. Unfortunate for those who were quick enough, the show sold out within hours after being announced. Axe the Cables was a special set that was made for the New Years run in 2009. They held it at the Wells Fargo Theatre in Denver and set a dress code for the event. With the big success of that show they brought it to a couple of lucky places and Boulder is finally lucky enough to be a part of those venues! If you got a ticket, pat yourself on the back for some quick purchasing skills and get ready for one awesome night of Tribe!!
