The Fox Theater Closing For A Few Months

Follow us on Facebook

Thats right, Boulder's neighborhood theater, The Fox, will be closing down this summer for repairs on their roof. They say it's in bad shape and decided now is the time to do it. This kind of comes at a bad time with summer coming up, but they assure that everything will be moved to the Boulder Theater just down the road. A roof is definitely something you need on an indoor music venue, so this is understandable and probably for the best. Check out the quote from the Fox's facebook page talking about the announcement:

"We need a new roof VERY BADLY & we're going to have to close The Fox for a few moths this summer to make the necessary repairs. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but NOT TO WORRY! We are going to have a great summer lineup down at the Boulder Theater, especially during June and July, to compensate for the lack of shows at The Fox. We are also busying booking an awesome lineup for Fall. We plan to be back in action at the beginning of August and we will be announcing late summer/ early Fall shows soon! Stay tuned to Facebook & Twitter for updates. Fox MGMT"
