Global Dance Festival has really evolved since its debut as 'Rave on the Rocks' in 1999 not only in the size of the festival, but also the acts that come through. From just one day, to two days, to three days now Global always stepped up their game each year. In 2011 they began experimenting with the different genres by adding artists like Empire of the Sun and Kid Cudi as well as big dubstep names like Nero and Skrillex, all while still keeping the EDM side of things with Avicii and Gareth Emery. This year they're experimenting with different genres while bringing something new to GDF, a night full of experimental, psychedelic, and glitchy sounds to start off the festival. Without further ado, something we've all been waiting for since last summer, the first phase of this years Global Dance Festival Line up:
Friday: Beats Antique, Eoto, Emancipator, Ott, Zoogma
Saturday: Savoy, Sander Van Doorn, Arty, Emma Hewitt, Ecotek
Sunday: Mimosa, Gramatik, Griz, Seven Lions, Kill Paris
If one night suites your fancy better, you can grab single day tickets again this year or if you just can't decide go for the 3 day pass. Early bird tickets go on sale TOMORROW, March 22nd, at noon. If you don't want to miss out on the cheapest price of tickets be sure to get your tickets tomorrow quick before they sell out!
