2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the release of monumental release of Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd. In celebration, MOTH is proud to present The Cirque Side of the Moon, a voodoo mardi gras masquerade with live electronic and rock performances from;
- Lance Herbstrong
- DJ Danni G
- DJ Fubari
- DJ Walt White
And of course, Wish We Were Floyd, who will be performing the entire Dark Side of the Moon album accompanied by fully choreographed elite level modern circus performers, which include;
- world-class aerialists
- acrobats
- dances
- fire
- burlesque
- trapeze
- contortionists
Everyone is encouraged to dress up for this event and give in to self-expression (in a legal sense). It will be going on February 8th at Casselman's Bar & Venue. This event is going to be HUGE. The venue has a capacity of 1,250 so expect quite the experience. Tickets are already on sale and are going for $25. Oh, and did I mention that a portion of the proceeds benefit Colorado Creative and Conscious Alliance, which are both incredible programs. You can learn more about how they help here;
