Well not to long after his last appearance in Colorado (last Sunday at Global Dance Festival), Josh Gard, better known as Figure, has planned his trip back! Only starting out in electro and bass music a couple years ago Figure has became a huge name in the scene. With multiple originals and remixes, he's worked with heavyweights like Diplo, Flux Pavilion, Excision, and Borgore. What really got me into his music is Monsters of Drumstep mixes. Fusing his love for bass music and horror. Playing all around the world at EDC, Starscape, Creamfields Australia, and not to mention our own Global Dance Festival, he has a lot of experience under his belt and is definitely becoming a sought out act. Along with him comes Boulders own Robotic Pirate Monkey. Over the last year RPM has blown up and even sold out their debut show at the Fox Theatre and the following Bluebird Theater show. They've had a couple of albums and a handful of remixes which have gotten them a pretty big local following. Playing The Friendly Gathering, Sonic Bloom, Global Dance Festival, and accompanying SAVOY at their debut Red Rocks Show Robotic Pirate Monkey is definitely on a their way up the ropes! Lazerdisk Party Sex, the duo out of Burlington, VT, more commonly known for their Storm Troopers helmets, go hard and with a name like that, you'd have to.
